Being human is having emotions, conscious, have a soul, to reason , and to question what you have doubts about. Humans "go together like rama lama ding da ding da dong, that's the way it should be, whoa woo yeah!!! We are one of a kind."
Human being means to have a soul. For example, you see a car crash do you stop and help or just drive by? My uncle believes people with a soul would stop and help and if a person did not they would feel guilty. Being guilty also ties into emotions. If we did't have feelings and emotions, we would be an empty shell. Not really caring abotu anything, the world would be a hateful place. If we didnt have a soul, we wouldnt have emotions and feelings.
Being Human means to have a conscious and the ability to reason and question what you have doubts about. For instance, the Bible in God's word explains it thoroughly, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." That would fall into our conscious knowing what we can and cannot change. Knowing how human beings are different from live beings is the wisdom to know the difference. Like in Frankenstien, the monster knew he was different and knew no one would change towards him. He says, "All men hate the wretched; how, then, must I be hated, who am miserable by all living things!" Humans like Frankenstien understand and have more than one purpose in life.
Some would say that is what makes us different is to have a brain. From what i stated above in the quote from the Bible, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." It's not just the brain it has other factors combined. God granted us that so technically when Adam and Eve were made knew the differences and didn't have to learn
So basicaly everything I have written above is what i think being human means. The question how do we differ from live beings gives us an idea of what to think about. Liek parasites they are living, but isn't human beings. They don't have the characteristics or personalities that we do. They don't even have emotions and feelings, or even a soul for that matter. Human beings have many different ways they are different from live beings.

Zeal to Survive
What I think the Zeal to survuve is, is miraculous. Human beings and creatures will to survive is everything and important to them. People would do anything for their survival and to go on in life.
Titantic is a very good example. There's people viciours pushing people out of the way to get on the other boats, leaving their loved ones behind stuck, people just laying down pretending to go to sleep, people playing their instruments without a care in the world, and people jumping in the water off the boat.
Call of the Wild is a little harder to explain, the Titantic the examples are out there and the Call of the Wild you have to find. When Buck was used as a sled dog for many many miles going on the same dreadful track over and over. He learned that you had to steal for more food, fight for leadership, learn to protect your food, stand up for yourself, and don't give up.
Two very different stories with horrible afflictions that are pretty much the same. They both do anything and everything they can to survive the horrible. Are you willing to do things you normally wouldn't do to survuve?

Anthropomorphism
My name is Stinger the wasp and I'm going to be making a nest today. I'm flying and zipping around getting all the supplies i need for our home. When bam! Out of no where there's people everywhere. I'm beset by all sides. I'm like oh no! I need to protect my family. I go into full attack mode going after them dodging hands, books, feet, anything they bring my way. I have to scare them off! I have to watch my stinger so, i wont get hurt. Next thing i know here comes a flly swatter squashing my home and family. I was so let down and mad that I stung and stung that human even if i die. Then i go lie down somewhere ready to join my family so i close my eyes and wait.

Victor Frankenstein and Robert Walton
Victor and Robert are two very different people, but happen to try to behold an unreachable goal that's impossible. Which happens to be that one realizes that his goal is rediculous and the other died trying.
Victor and Robert both set out on goals they could not achieve. Robert against nature through very cold climates on a ship and Victor against a ferine horrible monster that he has created and regrets horribly.
Victor would never give up, he was too ill minded. He just kept on trying to prove people wrong and it turned out disaterous. Victor told his story to Robert, so after Victor died Robert realized he was heading for the same end Victor headed to he turned that ship right around.. Victor never got to reach his goal he died trying and Robert realized that was the same path he was going down. Victor and Robert are different, Robert got told what an unreachable goal would do to someone and Victor went through it.

Power to Create Life
If given the power to create life as Frankenstein did, I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't create such a thing. For fear of how it would turn out and if the thing I was creating kept dieing.
For one there's no telling what it would come out as evil or good. For instance, it could turn out an evil monster and go through the city acting with celerity you live and kill everyone. It could even kill the creator, and if that happened who would know how to kill it.
At last, another reason would be because what im my creation kept dieing. It would take a tremendous amount of your social life. Just be stuck somewhere creating something you don't even know. Also you could get use to the creature and feel bad for it before it died and you had to work on it again.
I think it goes against GOD because god has our lifed planned out for us already and making something god wouldnt be able to plan it's future, plus it would be all your fault so no i wouldnot. I have many more reasons as to why i wouldnt i only named a few above.

Frankenstein
I'm not really thrilled of reading Frankenstein, books like that are hard to understand whats really going on. Like it has a deeper meaning then whats being said and sometimes I can't always understand..Victor was superfluous constantly at work with that thing..Plus monsters aint my type of reading. Also a man can't even create life I mean through sperm yeah, but not with scratch. From my point of view God should only create life of men and women. Which means men don't have the right because god has a plan for you. What I think is very meraculous is that a women made this book at the age of 19 she must have been really smart. I don't beilieve in the sorcerer's stone, but I do believe in magic to an extent. However, I really don't believe in immortality there is not someone out there that can live forever that just wrong. Even in the bible everyone dies. Yeah they lived alot longer than we do now, but eventually they died.
